I have actually sold $45,000 on Instagram in the past 2 months! I can teach you guys some of the methods that I used to do the same thing with my 5-figure Instagram marketing strategy. This includes methods I’ve used to create an awesome Instagram community, to sell out my offers consistently and to have fun while making a bunch of connections.

The first thing is to focus on building connections through your free content. A lot of people like to run straight to a monetized course or sell when they haven’t established any community. The first thing you want is to build connections. Give give give, honestly for the first few months. That will help create a solid trust with your audience.

The next thing is to brand yourself visually as an expert. You need to figure out what you love talking about, what you know a lot about, and what other people like to come to you for. You want to make sure people know exactly what they need to go to your Instagram profile for.

Next, you need to create an offer that is clear and concise, and that you put your own spin and flavor on. Make sure people know what they’re going to get. Promote one thing at a time. Then, think about planning a launch, which can have a teasing phase, excitement phase, pre-launch phase, and then, the actual launch itself. When talking about how great this program, service or course is. Talking about it frequently and consistency is incredibly important. What are you doing afterwards? Are you sending them to a waitlist for the next round of your mastermind program, or a lower ticket offer if they didn’t buy? Plan ahead, a week to a month beforehand so you know exactly what’s coming and can prepare for it.

It’s okay to sell every single day. If you really want consistent sales, you’ve got to talk about it more than just once a week. People will forget that you’re doing this. There’s a direct correlation from how much I talk about it, to how much it sells. Stop being afraid about being salesy. Consistency matters.

My real secret weapon is Instagram stories. I put up a poll and say hey, “I’m doing a group program. Do you want more information?” Show people behind the scenes in creating the offer, then hit them with, “Hey, are you guys interested in this thing I’ve been talking about?” Getting your audience engaged is so important and a lot easier than just sending random DM’s to people.

People buy from me on Instagram because I show my life. Share a Friday introduction, a day in your life, your favorite coffee cup. I can open up conversations and talk to people that I wouldn’t normally talk to. Be yourself. Figure out what is your special sauce and what makes you important and exciting.
